ABOUT CHRIST LUTHERAN
OUR MISSION AND OUR LEADERS

Our mission at Christ is for others to see God’s love through our actions. We participate in many outreach and ministry projects in our community and beyond.

Here are a few of the outreach ministries we participate in:

Throughout the year we collect items for our local homeless shelter sell fair trade coffee

Collect offering for many Lutheran World Relief projects. http://www.lwr.org Lutheran World Relief seeks lasting solutions to poverty and injustice and in doing so, compels U.S. Lutherans to put their faith into action.

In June we participate in a Habitat for Humanity work day.

In August and September we donate and fill over 100 backpacks to local school children who are in need.

In November and December we help bring Christmas to 25 local families in need by purchasing gifts and putting together food baskets and help to ring the salvation army bell in our area.
